We came from Nagano and had been staying at the Mercure Matsushino resort hotel, and it was terrible. The Hotel Rosso was such a relief, everything was new and clean and in good condition. Even the food quality was so much better. I was so relieved at the upkeep and quality of the Hotel Rosso. I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel was very clean, 7 minute walk from Karuizawa train station and only 10 minute walk from the Prince outlet mall! Hotel also has a good modest breakfast selection too. A convenience store is also 1 min from the hotel entrance even though it closed at 11pm. Room was spacious and have everything we needed, thank you for the great stay!

Excellent hotel with very accommodating staff. Easy to find, right on the main road and right next to a Lawson’s convenience store. Newly renovated bathrooms are particularly good. The complimentary breakfast is ideal to start the day. All staff very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay here and hope to come again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, only a few minutes from the station, with a Lawson store right next to it and a supermarket nearby. The room is spotlessly clean and spacious. All the staff are nice and accommodating. They also provide a shuttle service to the station and to the Prince Ski Resort, which is very helpful. Our only comment is that we wish they could improve their breakfast service with better food options and presentation. Overall, it’s good value for money. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

Staff and very helpful. That have shuttle bus to take you down to ski centre and drive you back on scheduled time. Small breakfast variety but at least is complimentary. Super helpful before skiing. They also have free welcome drinks from 3-9pm daily. Small selection but good after a full day ski.

Our room was very nice and large. We really enjoyed the tatami portion of the room to rest and for our son to play. Staff were very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great and had a variety of western and Japanese cuisine. Location was ok as it was not in the main road/shopping area.
