This was as charming as it is possible for a conference centre to be. One day, a Cybertruck was in the parking lot.

I've stayed at the Donald Gordon a few times and it never disappoints. It is quiet, clean and a very comfortable place to stay. The breakfast is always a favorite of mine.

View from my window was the corrections training facility, where upon my arrival a man was smoking outside with view of my window. Discarded furniture stored in a sheltered area as a horrible view. Person upstairs had heavy feet late at night & early morning. Floor was poorly insulated. Poor sleep. Disappointing as a single woman. Felt unsafe. Kept curtains closed. No natural light.

Excellent location if you want to be near Queen's West Campus. They were very accomodating regarding dietary restrictions (both in the breakfast restaurant and providing a microwave when asked). Veronica in the breakfast room is fantastic.
