Definitely a good place to stay. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and location is great. This hotel is very close to multiple stores, and tourists location. On top of that is very close to the train station.

The staff is great, and the property is clean, located about a 7-minute walk from Kyoto station. However, the breakfast is terrible. It’s not a buffet-style it only Japanese breakfast with no various options; instead, it’s the same food every time.

The rooms were very small but cleverly designed and highly functional. Everything was also very clean. However, the bathroom ventilation was extremely loud and couldn't be turned off. Because of this constant noise, I had a lot of difficulty sleeping

Spent three nights as a single traveller in April 2026. Room was small but clean, quiet and it had all comforts needed, like large TV, hairdryer, refrigerator, hot water boiler etc. Breakfast was served in a separate restaurant. Not a breakfast from a bar, instead standard Japanese style served by a waitress. To enjoy you have to like cold fish, salad, rice and soup in the morning. No big portions. I couldn’t see more options, so I skipped for the next days. The hotel is a 6 minute walk away from the Kyoto station. Perfectly located to start your day trip into Kyoto. I can fully recommend this hotel.
