Perfect location to do anything and evrything in Kyoto. Its near by public transportation such as subways and bus. Theres a Geisha performance right down the steeet as well as all the shopping you could ever do. Plenty of places to ear within walking distance and the hotel had an upscale feel and vibe which was very nice.

Prime Hotel in a Great Location

Amazing hotel in a prime location a couple of blocks from the river and close to a lot of dining, shopping, entertainment, and transportation options. About 10 minutes via taxi from Kyoto Station and a 10 minute walk to Gion. Our room was a great size and much larger than what we expected for a hotel in Japan. The room was clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options as well.

Incredible hotel!

The whole time was amazing. From the moment we walked in I was amazed at the hotel itself. A must see and definitely worth staying at. Perfectly centered in the heart of Shinjuku. Loved walking to the hotel at night because it is so beautiful to the whole city lit up with lights. Only think is every room is small in Japan so don’t be surprised.

The hotel is conveniently located, and our room is cleaned. We have breakfast included but were disappointed with it. Almost all the foods were the same everyday. For instance, they served overcooked sunny side up eggs, and mentaiko tamago everyday. I love to eat Japanese style breakfast, but the tsukemono served never change for the seven nights we stayed there. The WiFi is super slow when where were to many guests. I was not able to connect to the WiFi on mornings when there were too many guests at the lobby. Overall the hotel is nice to stay but not the breakfast.

Great location - walkable to a lot of sights and close to 2 train stations for easy access to other areas; 1 min walk to the riverside. Lots of restaurants and basic shopping needs in the area. Rooms were new, clean and spacious, and the complimentary coffee bar was great. At times a little noisy at night when louder / rowdy people walk by, but overall an excellent experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Room size was excellent -separate toilet and large bathroom with shower wet room.Large TV (didnt use much) Location is excellent. Short walk to either main shopping/food area or riverside. I found it easier to use Sanjo station as nearest underground-just short walk over the bridge. Riverside is well used by locals and great place to relax. Hotel staff were great and v helpful. Check in was quick.
