Great hotel! Great location! The rooms were wonderful with great amenities. Beautiful property. A little annoyed you couldn’t use the onsen if you had tattoos.

The hotel is beautiful and well located. The hot spring is great. My only complain is that room are outdated. But the rest was great. Breakfast was amazing too

This hotel was fabulous! 5 stars all the way! Service and the spa amenity was over the top! Breakfast buffet was amazing, both cultures represented in taste, with great assortment as not to become boring after many days of indulgence! Highly recommended and can’t wait to explore the other boutique Monterey properties.

The hotel itself is beatiful breakfast is plentiful but little options for vegan the rooms are small the location is perfect. The onsen is very nice the only issue we had was that it was closed the evening we arrived without any advance notification

The location is very good. Within walking distance to different subway or JR train lines and busses. Very close to downtown. Hotel has natural hot spring and spa facility. After using the hot spring, hotel guests can relax in the VIP room on the top floor to enjoy the night view nearby. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided free of charge.

Ok, so this is a very nice hotel, perhaps nicer than I'm used to. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the room was quite nice. I'm knocking a star off due to despite being a paying guest, I was barred from the onsen for having a tattoo. I get that this is Japan and a lot of onsens dont allow it, but I guess I figured it would be different since you're paying to stay there. Just something for future travelers to consider if you were hoping to take advantage of the spa/onsen services for some unwind time.
