I was charged an extra $30 at booing in. Even though the reservation said no extra money would be taken.

Kids very noisy. Lots of bass ball games on thanksgiving weekend and kids run riot up and down corridors...

Ideal location for us, as we could go for a walk comfortably, and was across the road from our favourite restaurant "the Pepper Mill". Hotel is very customer friendly.

Would I recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes, but. Be aware it's a budget ressort even for Vegas. That being said, know what to expect and you'll get value for your money. Only the ressort fees of $35/ day are way to expensive.

Hotel That is Going Downhill

Pros: Close to the Convention Centre
Cons: Mostly everything, this hotel needs a total refurbishment, or probably it would be cheaper to knock it down.
Location: It is at the North end of the strip, close to the convention centre. It is walking distance to the main part of the strip.
I have stayed at Circus Circus quite a few times now, & I have always said for the money that you pay, it is OK. This time I booked a run of the hotel price, which I know is you get what ever is available. This stay was for 8 days, so I ended up in the 'Manor', which is actually not connected to the main hotel as it is 3 blocks of motel rooms. When I queried that putting people in the motel may not be the best way to get repeat customers. The attitude of the check-in was along the lines of 'what do you expect, as we are one of the cheapest hotels on the strip'. Until this stay I would describe Circus Circus as Faded Glory, but the motel rooms had paper coming of the walls, & furniture doors that did not close properly. So not quite Faded Glory, but sinking without a trace. I know the shops in hotel have cover extra costs, but I would advise that you only buy the least from this hotel. For example a 500ml soda/soft drink was costing 4 dollars in the hotel, but in the convention centre only 3 dollars, & if you went to the 7-11 store 300 metres away a 2 litre bottle costs 3 dollars 75 cents. I will say that the room was OK for the money that I paid, but I would seriously be looking to pay the extra when booking a hotel, to not stay in a motel.

One of the cheapest hotels on the strip

Pros: Great location, great value
Cons: Bit tired, sound passes easily between connecting doors
Location: Great for Strip
Circus Circus is not the smartest hotel in Vegas. It is old and the casino is a little dingy. But it is clean and the rooms are fine. We stayed in the Casino Tower which is the most recently renovated. It is also really convenient for the Las Vegas Convention Centre - a pleasant 10 minute walk - and the Wynn (where several cocktails took place attached to the show)

Hotel reasonable and reasonable for families.

I would have liked a fridge in room (at no extra cost) and coffee /tea making facilities. At every corner in Las Vegas everyone wants you to to spend your money so with a family in family hotel a few little things in room could make life easier . I upgraded to the west tower as was advised it had been renovated. I did nt think the room was up to that and although I had not seen the manor lodge rooms I thought the parking was far easier , nearer to pool and away from hustle of the casino. I booked hotel for the circus which the acts were good but only 1 act per 45 minutes or hour which was disappointing. At least have a 15 to 20 min show . This was designed for you to spend your money on the kids machines which I found a rip off
