There was no fridge, alarm clock or coffee maker. I knew it was Vegas but the constant upselling every time I walked into the lobby felt desperate. They wanted to charge $28 for early check in, though lines of weary travelers lined the halls. The weathered interior bordered on gross, but it was relatively quiet in the Carson tower. They were nowhere near queen sized beds, full at most though advertised as such. Really short pool hours despite the resort fee. Fine for a quick stayover but not as comfortable as we anticipated.

Room was nice, and clean. Unfortunately, (1) the closed pool area in warm weather was not appreciated. We also stayed at Palazo earlier that week and their pool area and outdoor bar/restaurant was filled with happy people; and, (2) the mandatory $2 bet on "free spin" blackjack will keep me from returning to your hotel. I would have loved to play at your blackjack tables on Saturday morning but instead went to Circa before I left for the airport.

ChikFilA folks were pleasant to deal with as we've all come to expect. The rest of the actual hotel employees we interacted with seemed bothered to be at work, except for the folks eagerly trying to sell you a timeshare or whatever they were trying to hook us up with--naturally they wanted to speak. The room itself was right above the AC units on top of one of the roofs.

Check in was a nightmare - automated with unhelpful staff. Pool only opens at 10am….why and why not say 8am? They make you queue to enter the pool area and due to limited number of sun beds it is an unnecessary stress. The room suffered from freemont street noise even though we had apparently booked a room in the quiet tower. They know that noise is an issue as they provide ear plugs!

Clean, quiet room, with exciting casino downstairs (while other casinos were boring) excellent seafood at Chart House restaurant, friendly staff always happy to help with anything. Checked out other casinos nearby and found Nugget the one to get our business again.
