We were checked in 2 hours late and unable to shower, eat dinner and also made us late for the Coldplay concert. All they had to do was let us know check was delayed & we would’ve eaten dinner instead of waiting around in the lobby wasting time. Then they charges us for mutiple items from the bar fridge that we didn’t eat/drink. They leave a water bottle & snacks on top of the bar fridge to make you think they are complimentary. Nope, charged us $25 for a bottle of Fiji water. At that point, we had no other option as we were already late due to 2 hour late check in for our concert. This is our 2nd stay at Vdara, and we had no issues the 1st visit. Management needs to get their act together. Also, pull out sofa bed is total crap. Worst sofa bed ever for a hotel of this caliber. It was literally a flat mattress cover on top of a metal frame, completely unacceptable!!

The check-out frontdesk and other staffs were very nice. However, the frontdesk who checked us in was very passive and unfriendly. There was no communication besides making our keys and here you go. No information like parking, room direction, the hotel info in overall. Just made a key and gave to us. Quite disappointed for Vegas hospitality. The parking was confusing for Uber to pick up. Self parking has to be shared with other hotels. Room was not clean. I found hair and poop stain in the toilet. Just didnt want to make a big deal to complain because I know i wont come back.

Upon checking in, the mini fridge had smelly food & drinks that had been left from the last person. We immediately called & asked if someone could empty/clean it. We checked out & it was still in there. You can help but wonder if everything else was actually clean or just made to look clean enough. When checking in, we couldn’t understand the receptionist cause she mumbled & wasn’t very loud. She got irritated & bothered when we kept asking her to repeat herself or asked ‘did you say this…’ Overall it wasn’t a horrible hotel, just not good enough for us to go back.

I stay at Vdara solely for business trips. The rooms are very nice, large and modern. Check in is very easy. No gaming and smoking is a plus for business. A few mechanical issues in my room this stay. Not a big deal but frustrating. Otherwise, a great hotel and stay.
