What we liked-the property was clean and attractive. The pool area is beautiful. The flamingo exhibit is neat. Location is amazing. Price is affordable. Check out is simple. There aren’t many restaurants but they were all good. Got upgraded to a suite without requesting it when I said I was there because I was getting married. Didn’t like-no coffee makers in most rooms-this is an up charge. None of the mobile check in kiosks worked (which they say to use to skip the line). Everyone in our group who had a strip view room (4 of them, 8 people in our 20 person group) didn’t get the room. We were all told to come back the next day-those who did go back didn’t get the room. The hotel blamed Expedia and made us feel dumb for booking through a third party. We had a fantastic trip. We didn’t spend a lot of time in our rooms. I stayed at the Venetian for 1 night during this trip and the customer service was above and beyond. The customer service is an easy fix for the Flamingo-training of staff, being more flexible, and empowering staff. The employees seemed disgruntled and stressed. They will openly complain about the hotel if you mention your grips. For instance, the room situation of not having strip view rooms the staff said they were overbooked as it was and it wasn’t their fault. The staffs’ hands are tied. The Flamingo needs to give their staff options. I blame the company not the staff themselves. I won’t stay here again.

Everything was clean and convenient, easy to get to other areas outside. Only set back for us was the wrong room view was assigned to us, however guest services did reach out to me. The only other thing was the shower was an open concept and the floor was soaking wet after every shower.

We booked this hotel the night of due to our friends already having a booking there. We were given a room with 2 bunk beds on a Monday night and they told us all rooms were booked and they could not upgrade us. They also said there was no late check out ability for the bunk bed room - even with paying for it. We stayed at the Luxor a few days prior to here and had drastically better service and half the rate. Never going back here again.

Zero amenities in the room. Lady at counter did not mention anything about the $20 early check in, otherwise would’ve waited out the hour to check in. Also unexpected costs for having adjoining rooms per night and per room. Ridiculous!

I was assigned a room with 2 Queen Beds, but it actually had 2 bunk beds in a connecting room. Guests next door were very loud, which disrupted my sleep. This room setup made my stay uncomfortable.

The Flamingo is an older property and it shows, but you really can’t beat the location and our room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good, everyone was friendly and helpful and they gave a few really good shops and restaurants on the property. Overall, I’d say it was an 8/10. I’d definitely stay there again.

I do not recommend. Two star at best. Had to pay for arriving two hrs early as no other option available. Had to pay extra for renovated area and it has a shower that sprays water all over the place. Front desk not friendly. Staff on floor very nice. Dealers not warm or welcoming.

The pool was nice, but the stairwell had a homeless person living in it, and it was very disgusting. We were denied having our room cleaned, even though the front desk told us to request it as needed. The staff are friendly, but our sheets had a stain on them in the bathroom was not spotless when we arrived. We have stayed here many times, but this was the dirtiest we have seen it.
