Overall loved my stay at the Mandalay. I usually choose this resort because the service is great, rooms are clean/up to date and there are a lot of dining/shopping options connected to the building. They lost a star this time however because I found specks under the covers in my bed that look like it was from bed bugs. I contacted housekeeping which came by but only replaced the sheets. They never explained what the specks were nor addressed the concern. Needless to say I didn’t sleep under the covers the rest of my time there.

Our first room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was old food in the night stand . Then we switched rooms and just out our bags down and left for dinner we returned at 9 pm one of the beds had no blankets on it and we had to wait over an our for blankets

Virgil, Manager Jose racially profiled me! Arrived at Mandalay Bay after 1:00 am, didn’t get into “a room “ until after 3:00 am ! Virgil informed me that he was providing us with an upgrade which had instantly sensing something was off, suspect, that they had giving away our Stay-well King room ! Agreed to upgrade however wasn’t told that upgrade wouldn’t be at Mandalay Bay it would be at the W hotel. Walked over 3 miles from 1:00 am to after 3:00 am when we received “a room “. We were directed to park in Frank Sinatra parking garage however everyone that we asked where it was located keep asking us was we sure we were staying at the Mandalay Bay. We parked and had to walk a mile from our car to the front desk concierge for the second time as our card didn’t work for elevator! Husband went I chose to stay by elevator, as I was tired, upset about how much walking we had to do also casino smells like cigarettes, smoke, old carpet ! Husband was informed to try again, that we were at the wrong elevator, we had to ask a janitor who was the one that informed us that key was for the W hotel ! Fourth time to front desk requested to speak with a manager, manager Jose came out informed us that they didn’t have our room, never once apologized,was passive aggressive, unapologetic, defensive, dismissive! Jose began disparaging the Mandalay Bay saying rooms are much smaller then the W hotel ! Please Don’t stay at the Mandalay Bay Hotel!
