The room was fine but there were a few things that didn’t make this a “great” stay. The rooms are a bit dated. Pool and hot tub were closed for the season. Housekeeping didn’t come to clean our room, they only left new towels once after our first night. I was told upon checkout that they clean the rooms every three days, which was not communicated to me at check in. Our sink kept backing up, either due to a plumbing or construction issue. We went into the gift shop a couple of times, and because of smoking being allowed in the casino, that smell permeates into anything sold in the gift shop. I wouldn’t want to give anyone a souvenir that reeks of smoke. Since the hotel side only allows valets and taxis in front, it’s a little inconvenient if you have several bags you need to unload. I will say, all the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we got home, I realized we left my husband’s medication in the room. I called the hotel and spoke to someone from housekeeping. She called me back when she located the medicine and is shipping it back to us.

The check-in staff was rude. Did not receive the food credit. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Then linens were rough with two sheets and a flimsy blanket sandwiched between them. The pillows were flat. There was hair in the shower.

Hotel is older but they are renovating the rooms. There was a musty smell in our room but everything seemed clean. Hotel does allow smoking in the Casino so be prepared for that if not used to it. Dining was great with good variety. Chris R, our server at Bailwicks was Amazing. Overall it was a fun trip.
