My recent visit to the Wynn Hotel on Easter Sunday was deeply disappointing and left me both humiliated and concerned. While standing in line for the buffet, I was unexpectedly approached and targeted by hotel security. I was publicly questioned without any proper identification or explanation, and it was suggested that I resembled someone suspicious of a crime. The encounter was abrupt, embarrassing, and entirely without cause.
What’s most troubling is not only the way the situation was handled, but the silence that has followed. Despite making multiple attempts to contact the hotel, I have yet to receive a direct response or explanation from hotel management or upper leadership. No one has taken the time to offer a phone call or acknowledge the emotional and reputational impact this incident has had on me.
In a hotel that presents itself as a premier luxury destination, I expected professionalism, discretion, and accountability. Instead, I was left questioning whether facial recognition was improperly used, whether my personal information is now part of a database without consent, and why I was not treated with the respect that every guest deserves.
