Relaxing Small-Town Retreat in Lawrenceville
"This location was downtown Lawrenceville so it was very convenient to food, drinks, entertainment, and family. It was perfect for us to see family and friends all day, but have a quiet, private sanctuary to cool comfortably, relax and sleep in late! (BTW, it was cooled nicely when we arrived!) The rooms were large and comfortable. There was just 2 of us, but the space easily accommodates 2 couples plus a couple of kids. It had an entry, big great room with a large, fully equiped kitchen with a bar/island, dining, and living room area (including a trundle bed), and lots of family friendly games. The master en-suite was off the great room. The upstairs had a tight spiral staircase to a nice sized bedroom and bath. It had a seperate air conditioner so it was very comfortable, even on these hot summer days. It was more expensive than a decent Vincennes hotel room, but the convenience, quiet, comfort, and relaxation were well worth it. We would stay there again, but might invite another couple since it was much larger than we expected. The only downside was that we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. We are in our 70's and thought it was fine for a long weekend, we wouldn't want to do it for just 1 night. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant below is amazing for breakfast, too!"
