Abysmal.

This property was not fit for sleeping or staying in for any more than a few minutes. The apartment was so stiflingly hot and musty, it was clear it hadn’t been opened or aired out for some time. There was an overwhelming smell of ammonia that was exacerbated by the heat. The one fan provided was not sufficient, especially considering the apartment is on two floors. We tried opening the windows to circulate some air but they were in poor condition and the bedroom window opens out onto the alley where trash and bugs started blowing into the apartment. The chemical smell, heat, insufficient provision of fans (we were told more could be delivered sometime the next day). The property management WhatsApp line was responsive and apologetic, but unfortunately not able to provide any help or solutions that would have allowed us to stay. We had to find very last minute and expensive alternate lodging as we didn’t feel comfortable or safe.
