Appalling apartment - choose elsewhere

The apartment is nothing like the photos on their advert. Everything is very old and falling apart. Mattress so filthy, they had turned it upside down, so we had to sleep on the rough black underside of the mattress. The bathroom door didn’t close, and is falling apart due to water leak from shower. Fridge freezes everything, so couldn’t be used. Kitchen doors all falling, so hard to close. My advice… avoid this apartment. I complained to the agency who manage it, and they’ve yet to confirm what compensation they will be giving. But this was the worst place we’ve stayed in a very long time, and in an area which doesn’t feel safe. Just stay elsewhere.
