Perfect Location, Imperfect Stay
The location stood out the most to us, as it was close to so many interesting places and was very central and within walking distance to nice restaurants, cafes, shopping, sights, etc. However, there were some things about the apartment that were unpleasant. Firstly, it was not clear that the place is a shared-living apartment, meaning the bedrooms are private, but communal areas are shared with other people. Luckily, this was not the case for us, but we would have appreciated knowing this detail before booking the space. Additionally, one bedroom was not cleaned from the previous occupants, so for two nights, that bedroom could not be used since the holiday made it not possible for a cleaner to come and clean. They ended up giving a different bedroom for one night in the same building on the floor above, which was a nice temporary alternative. Since we were 8 people staying in the apartment for over a week, before arriving I double checked with them that there would be enough hot water for 3-5 people to take hot showers back to back, and they assured us that this would be fine. However, even after modifying their water tank, there was not enough hot water for even one person to take a shower including washing hair, and also not enough hot water for two people to take a quick rinse back-to-back. On top of this, their WiFi wasn’t working throughout our whole stay so they brought some sort of hotspot device that gave some internet connection, but it was still weak and on
