I highly recommend staying here if you visit Lisbon. You’ll be in a centrally located area, easy to access any sighting adventures you want to go on. Plenty of restaurants, cafés, shopping, all within walking distance. I there is a beautiful park nearby as well as options for fitness and spas. The hotel itself was super clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely check out the lobby bar, a great place to end your day or grab a quick bite to eat. Bartenders were amazing and so friendly. A huge plus for me was having breakfast every morning, which was included in my package. Breakfast offerings were delicious and varied. I enjoyed my stay here very much and I would definitely come back!

Very modern hotel right across the street from the metro that connects you to the airport or train / bus station. Free breakfast buffet with great assortment of hot and cold choices. Custard tarts were delicious. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. Staff everywhere were courteous and helpful. Special shout out to Ivan who helped me get to the hotel from train station. Very pleasant stay and highly recommend

Trip to Portugal

The Hotel is very convenient located, right next to one of the entrances to Sao Sabastio Metro station which is in the terminal station from the airport. There are also direct buses nearby to go to different attractions, including the National Tile Museum. The staff are friendly and helpful. They offer nice breakfast buffet with fresh bakery and fruit. I will recommend the property and stay there again.

Excellent boutique hotel in Lisbon

It was amazing. This hotel is the best one we have stayed in for years. The design is modern and cozy. The breakfast is so good we actually look forward to it every morning. The location of the hotel is also perfect. The metro station is right in front of the hotel. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

A new boutique-style hotel situated in a very convenient location - access to many restaurants, cafes and a mega department store within minutes by foot. A metro entrance to both the red and blue lines are literally across from the hotel which will take you to the heart of Lisbon in 15 mins or the airport in 25 mins. The spreads at the breakfast buffet were great, and alot of fruits in particular. The only thing I wished for was a gym onsite; still a 10 in my books.

Quality stay at a reasonable price

Great stay at the Principe Avila Located in fairly quiet neighborhood of Lisbon out of the chos of old town but very accessible via the metro which is only steps away (easy access to airport via red line) Great breakfast Friendly and very helpful English speaking staff Short walk to restaurants and shopping at El Cortez Ingles (upscale urban mall) If I ever go back to Lisbon, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again

Pros: Staff particularly on reception were excellent. Modern and well fitted out hotel close to Metro station. Breakfast was good. Cons: Dirty dishes not cleared away from table fast enough so limited space at breakfast. Had to pay 5 euros for six v small uht milk capsules. Decorations are a bit muted.

We (two couples) really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Principe Avila, next door to sister hotel Hotel Principe Lisboa. We were welcomed by very friendly reception staff. Reception area was modern and comfortable with a small bar. Rooms were clean with a very modern layout and were serviced daily. Towels replaced if required and bathroom had a hot, powerful shower. Showergel, conditioner and body lotion supplied. The beds were comfortable, one or two English channels on tv. Slidding door for bathroom with large mirror on reverse side. V clever. We requested a kettle which was in our room for check in. Fridge and hairdryer in room. Bottled Drinking water is replenished daily. There are adequate power points in the room. Breakfast staff were lovely. Good selection of hot and cold food especially pastries. Pastel de natas every morning 😋. Good selection of tea and coffees. This hotel is across the road from the Sao Sebastiao stop, Av. Duque exit of the red metro line from the airport. This is the last stop. Exit metro to the left for most convenient exit for hotel. Exiting right off the metro (Av. Antonio Augusto de Aguios) will take you to El Corte Ingles - huge shopping mall with a large selection of designer stores and great selection of eateries. This mall can also be accessed street level, 5 minutes walk from hotel. All in all an excellent hotel base to explore Lisbon.
