I highly recommend this amazing hotel. We arrived during the blackout last week and the staff were very accommodating, understanding, and compassionate to travelers. The hotel is in a really great location, within walking distance of Parque Eduardo, the metro station, with plenty of shopping and dining options. I couldn't believe how quiet the rooms were. I could not hear a thing from the neighbors, and the only time you could hear the street below was if the window was open. The mild climate did make sleeping with the window open a wonderful treat. I would certainly stay at Locke de Santa Joana again and would recommend it to the travelers.

In love with this hotel! Just gorgeous!! The architecture is a perfect combination between tradition and modernism. I read it used to be a convent which gives it a really cool vibe. The rooms are so beautiful, comfy, and have everything you need. I’m definitely coming back!

Newly renovated property. We were able to check in early with no additional charge. Our room had washer/dryer, stove and fridge. They don't do daily cleaning though. If you want your room clean everyday, there would be additional fee.

Wife and I recently stayed here, and this hotel was absolutely beautiful, while in a great walkable area. Lots of food options nearby, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were modern and very quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and accommodating hotel!

This was my first visit to the country and we arrived during the historic blackout the affected Portugal, Spain & France. The hotel did have our reservation information therefore, we had no problem getting to our room but the facility had no backup plans as to how to accommodate its guess with water or backup lighting nor food options for prepaid guess versus those inquiring a room. The hotel was rationing water supply for their employees only, guess were left to find food/water for themselves. Overall the property was beautiful and walkable to almost everything, but not equipped to deal with emergencies.

Arrived before check and the staff managed to get us our room 3 hour early! Everyone was so friendly and the restaurants on property were delicious and so convenient. Out front is a small cafe perfect for a quick breakfast and there are multiple bars on site. Laundry and dish washer in the room was awesome! The metro is a five minute walk and we actually walked all the way to water and it was a pleasant 20 minute walk!
