Firstly this could be a wonderful hotel, the reception is grand as as is the main hotel its such a shame theres so much going for it, if only some money was spent on it to repair all the little annoying thing's that spoiled it, such as broken sunbeds, clutter such as 'spare' large panes of glass leanings up against the wall on the public balcony are, which is a disaster waiting to happen, our shower head wouldn't adjust so it was really difficult not to soak the floor and the shower hose was worn that it was leaking, paint peeling on kitchenette cupboards, 2 wine glasses that were totally different sizes, diningroomchairsthatwobble, just so many little things that could be so easily rectified. The pool area is lovely and the jacuzzi was great and the gardens were beautiful except the ornamental pond was completely different clogged with blanket weed, again just not maintained. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful. I feel so sad that I couldn't rate it higher but it was very tired and shabby.

A little hard to find when you don’t know the area. They should send the gate code before our arrival so we don’t have to drive all around the neighborhood to park the car. Service was good overall. The house (main building) is old but charming and the room was clean but the smell of it was awful and way too strong (very strong perfume sent in the room). Also the bed matress was sunken (very big dips in it on both sides), there is no AC and if you open the window to get fresh air (or to attenuate the smell) you will be waking up veryyyyy early (like 3am) to the sound of the roosters screeming non stop. Besides that, the buffet breakfast was nice!

The views were fantastic and it was close to many attractions. Room 5 had a beautiful breeze at night. The roosters at 5:30 am were a bonus! 😃 I would stay here again. Wonderful

This place was AMAZING!! My only regret is not booking more nights. The photos do not do this property justice: beautiful gardens, hot tub, very cute adorable breakfast room. 10/10 would stay here again and will be telling ALL my friends. My advice is to book one extra night just for relaxation. Ask the man at the front desk for advice, he knows his stuff. Also, just take an Uber, the bus isn't worth the few extra dollars you might save.

This b&b was just perfect! The grounds, pool, area is surreal, the room is comfy and clean and very practical. The staff were all nice and the included breakfast delicious. It is also very quiet but only 6 min walk to the historic center.

Perfect spot for my family of four with young kids to stay while visiting Sintra. The rooms are very nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great. The area is beautiful. The hot tub and pool are perfect after a long day of walking. Really happy we stayed here.

The hotel was the best we stayed in on our trip. We had a spacious room with a kitchenette, although we didn’t use it. The outside area is very nice. The staff was very friendly and parking was abundant. The only problem is the hotel is far from everywhere, but I liked that. My wife and I wished we had another night.

Romulo was an absolutely fantastic host. He welcomed me and my daughter with a huge smile and made our check in seamless. He provided great information on the history of QDM as well as gave great insight on what and when to visit the local attractions. With a small error in booking rooms on my part, he was able to quickly provide us what we needed for a great stay. Offered us an early morning departure breakfast which is above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back!

Quaint manor stay experience in Sintra + parking

Fantastic property walking distance from historic center of Sintra. One of the three properties to have a free parking lot. Additionally, service of Paul and others during my stay makes it highly recommended. Again this is an old manor, so expect few glitches with doors etc. But very comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere.
