This hotel is located in the busy Alfama district, so you're in the centre of everything. Loads of restaurants and historic sites. It's on the tram line, too, literally outside of our window. Diego is a rock star. We had trouble with our air conditioning and he worked doggedly to get it working and saved the day. This is not a fancy place, but you're not going to Alfama to sit in your hotel room all day---it's a good, quiet place to rest your head and feet after a delicious dinner.

Room was big enough and tired looking, but clean. The towels were tatty. It would have been better with a hand towel and bath mat. On arrival you have to go across the road for reception. Room was up 2 flights of stairs, no lift.
