We felt so well looked after at the Torel Palace. The whole staff was amazing. Make sure to take the opportunity to go up the spiral tower for the best possible view, and take a steam bath in the Turkish bath. Such a beautiful peaceful propriety, complete with a lovely black and white kitty roaming around. Only downside is you’ll never want to go out!

The view was unbelievable and the staff makes this hotel a five star. Sonia who I assume Is a manager was very professional, the bartenders, Di Di. and Augustinho were so friendly and delightful and made great drinks and Sónia and Felipe that serve in the restaurant are very professional and always with a smile on their faces. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.. Congratulations to all the staff at Torel Palace Lisbon . Will definitely be back.

This was a truly unique experience - one that stood out in many positive ways. While I wouldn’t rate it a full 5 stars, I’m giving it a solid 4.5 primarily due to its distinctiveness and overall atmosphere. There’s clear attention to design and ambiance, but improvements in room functionality and additional staff training would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. One notable inconvenience was the distance to the commercial district; walking there presents a bit of a challenge. Given this, it’s surprising that the hotel doesn’t offer a courtesy shuttle service, even if just for a few hours each day. That would be a thoughtful and practical addition. Overall, a memorable stay with room for a few small, yet impactful, improvements.

Impressive room (but not very functional room, in a cool old mansion definitely in the wrong part of town. Service and breakfast was not up to par for such highly rated hotel. Always have to take uber to get anywhere. Not an enjoyable walk.

The property is historic so if you appreciate history you will love the hotel. It is beautiful, but old for example you open your door with a physical key. The room layouts are a little odd compared to how hotel rooms are laid out now. Overall I think it is a great hotel. If you opt to walk back to your hotel from dinner or being out some of the routes, I would suggest being more alert. It’s not unsafe but is quiet and dark. The staff was super helpful overall. I wish we had more time to take advantage of the hotel spa and restaurants.

Loved it! So enchanting, but a bit far from downtown. Loved the spa! Beyond exceptional! The therapist was spectacular! I was so relaxed! I would have gone more but didn’t have enough time! I will return! The front desk staff was fantastic… the tour was insightful and added a quaint touch.

This stunning boutique hotel has gorgeous, surprisingly spacious rooms, exceptional views and delicious food. There is easy access to a tram that takes you right to the city center. It was a hot day when we arrived, after a long day of travel, so lounging at the picturesque pool with a glass of sparkling wine was how we spent our time here.

It was unique. Each room had character. It was spread out over three buildings and didn’t have a huge number of rooms. Service was impeccable - staff was truly helpful and a pleasure to deal with, but not in your face all the time. The breakfast buffet was lovely and well curated. The hill to get to the hotel was shockingly steep, but it afforded the property wonderful views.
