Cute apartment in the heart of historical Alfama

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Alfama is wonderful neighborhood to stay in Lisbon. However, if you have trouble with hills and steps or have accessibility issues, this neighborhood may not be for you. The apartment was a bit older than expected, but this was characteristic of this historical neighborhood. It was comfortable and lovely. Our only issue is that We wish we knew that the washer was in another building a couple blocks away so that we could have planned better. Otherwise, the apartment was near the train station (Santa Apolonia) and even closer to the #28 Cable Car stop, which was very convenient.

Sweet apartment, very well located

We stayed for a short weekend trip at Rui & Elsa's place, and were very happy with our stay. We were actually moved to another apartment in the same building, due to some issues with our original choice, but we were happy with the new place which was very luminous. They made sure to check that we are comfortable so we appreciated the hospitality. The apartment is extremely well located, perfect to get lost in the lovely streets of Lisbon and to explore the city. The place is clean, and well organized. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would recommend staying here!
