The check in process was fast and efficient, and we were shown to our room.
The bar area, inner square and dining areas are beautiful and the original building structure has been used very well
Breakfast needs to be reorganized, with plenty of space in the breakfast area they seated people too close to each other. Tables are way too close together. Some of the breakfast items are from the buffet and some you order from the waiter, the menu is not clear on which is which. You have to order coffee from the waiter and the milk and the spoon, if you don’t ask for each one you have to wait until he goes past again(maybe that was a once off). To put of flask of good coffee on the table with a small jug of milk would give people a lot more relaxed breakfast, reduce traffic up and down and increase the waiter’s effectiveness.
Bar staff very friendly but get distracted by their phones and colleagues and forget they have guests waiting to be served.
The room (405) was ok, very clean but generally did not match the level of the more public areas of the hotel, it was a fairly standard room and would equal those of hotels a lot less expensive.
Overall the hotel is very clean and the public area are really relaxing and beautiful.
