We had a lovely stay at Quinta de Fera. The hosts were welcoming and attentive throughout, and their offer to show us the grounds beyond the property was a generous touch. They responded to all our requests promptly, which made everything feel easy.The pool and outdoor kitchen area were fantastic, and the Bluetooth speakers and hot tub were a real highlight. Little extras like the additional coffee pods and the inflatable play area for the baby were thoughtful and much appreciated.A few things could be improved. Air conditioning wasn’t available in the bedrooms, only in the gym and bar area, and this wasn’t clear from the listing details, so it’s worth knowing in advance. We also weren’t made aware that there was no hot water in the downstairs bathroom, which meant all seven of us shared the single upstairs shower. Finally, the pillows could do with replacing, as they lacked structure and had seen better days.Overall a great base for a group, and with a few small tweaks it would be close to perfect. We’d happily return.
