Everything in the hotel was old, unlike the photos. Old sofa. Fridge without any cold. Not even bathroom slippers. I could only tolerate it because of its proximity to attractions

The staff was amazing! Helpful, kind and understanding & responding to requests. The room was spotless as well. The only downside can be the construction facade the room was facing but for a single-night stay, it didn't bother me at all.

Great location, close to attractions, <5mins to Rossio metro station. The hotel was well decorated and rooms spacious. However there was a sewage smell in the bathroom, perhaps older building and we were on first floor. Breakfast was decent and was quite a lot of food (pastries, egg, bread + juice and coffee).

The hotel staff were great but the hotel is tired and in need of some modernization. The breakfast was good. Area around the hotel is busy and noisy and not much immediately around the hotel. However close to the Elevador Baixa to get from the Baixa area to the Rua Madalena.
