Good budget hotel opposite Argyle Square.

Nice Hotel close to Kings Cross and to Jamboree Music Place minutes away. My room was completely clean and with a comfortable mattress and lovely fluffy towels. Only minus was I was on the 3rd floor with no lifts in Hotel. Receptionist kindly carried my case upstairs for me. The lower price I paid took this problem into account. Overall a good clean friendly convenient budget Hotel. Would recommend.

Staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The area is lovely with kings cross a 2 minute walk away. Food can be ordered to hotel and can be collected at reception. We stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved it.

Stop over

One night stay near Kings Cross for train next day. Very convenient and able to leave bags before check in. Very helpful staff. Very good value for money. Water and apples in room. Will use again.

Everything I needed for one night

Arrived at 9pm and left at5.30 next morning so just needed a bed! Young man on reception was polite. Room was on 3rd floor which was a long climb with a heavy backpack (I’m 62 so not that fit!) but made it. Room had two single beds, and a fan was already switched on which was great. Bathroom had everything I needed, toilet, sink and shower. 5 mins walk to King’s Cross and St Pancras which was perfect. Very quiet even with window open all night. Coffee, tea, biscuits and bottled water supplied. Couldn’t ask for anything more, and very cheap for London!

Check in was brilliant and a very friendly welcome to the hotel. The room size was as expected, attention to detail is required around the cleanliness of the bedroom, there was excessive dust left in the fan, used soap left in the shower cubical from the previous resident. Overall the room and hotel ticked the boxes for what we needed for a one night stay in London.

Only thing good was that it was close to the tube. Too many strairs even on ground floor. Unsafe shower and TV placement- kept bumping my head - and I’m short. Sloppy/ineffective window curtain.
