What a HORRIBLE experience!!
We were very excited to stay at this property as it looked fabulous and was in a wonderful location. The morning of our trip we woke up to the Heathrow Fire and our flight had been canceled. I reached out immediately to Patricia thru the VRBO app, no response. I called and spoke with Michael asking for options as according to VRBO's site this was an extenuating circumstance and the house was not rented for the days after our stay was supposed to end. He was less than helpful and said he would check with VRBO for clarification of their policy but would rent us the days for additional money but would not provide a price. We asked twice if Michael ever got clarification from VRBO with no response, even though you could see he was active in WhatsApp, until the next day. VRBO said the fire should qualify for extenuating circumstances but to keep working with owners. We did try but eventually had to find and pay for another place to stay thru another site. We were not paying Michael for the additional days, it was the exact same number of days we had originally contracted for, as he would not give us a price and just kept talking in circles. I also find it very suspicious that a very unfavorable rating 2/10 left by a previous quest keeps appearing and disappearing. That review alone may have had us pick a different place to stay while in London.
