Great house, but needs better cleaning
The house is in a good location, only a 10 minute walk from the train station and 30 minutes to central London. The house is spacious and great for a group and the owner was friendly. Towels were provided as well as a few hygiene products. There were however a few downsides. The house was definitely not cleaned well, the floor was sticky and dirty. There were multiple big flies flying about and ants on the floor in the two downstairs bedrooms and living area and the bathrooms and kitchen were definitely not deep cleaned. There were no chairs for the dining room table as pictured in the images. The upstairs bedroom has an en-suite, however it has no door so there is little privacy if you are staying with friends, it also has no light switch, I messaged the owner asking about it and he said it was on a sensor but the light never turned off even after we left the house all day, and it effected our sleep at night because of the brightness. Lastly, it should be noted that although it is not the owners fault, the neighbours were very aggressive, we made some noise at night which was admittedly our fault and the neighbours banged and shouted through the wall, but then banged on our door at 8am the next morning while we were still sleeping shouting at us and being very aggressive and my friends were scared to leave as they were lingering about outside our house. We still had a good stay for the price and the area was safe but I think the house definitely needs improvements.
