*Victoria Line Tube / Underground: Kings Cross (Coal Drops Yard) 1 Stop, Euston 2 stops, Oxford Circus (Soho) 4 stops, Green Park (Mayfair) 5 stops, Victoria (for direct trains to Gatwick) 6 stops, then continues to South London

*London Overground lines take you direct all over North, East, South, and West London (including Camden, Hampstead, Dalstan, Hackney, Canada Water, New Cross)

*National Rail connects you directly to the City and beyond

* 2 minute walk to Buses direct to all over London (including Old Street, the City, London Bridge for direct trains to Gatwick)

SAFE NEIGHBOURHOOD

- The short walk from the station/ other amenities is extremely safe and the building secure. It's a well lit residential area and there are always people around even late into the evening- I've never had any issue as a woman in the 10 years I've lived here, or felt unsafe even when returning home in the early hours.



THE APARTMENT DETAILS

- Quiet, cosy bedroom with double bed, black out blind, and lined curtains, all linen provided, and a large wardrobe with hanging space (hangers privided) and large drawers, for your use

- Newly decorated Bathroom with walk in shower (towels, bathmat, soap, shower gel, toilet paper provided)

- Small Hallway for your coats and shoes

- Sunny South facing stylish open plan room with:

- Living area (large comfy sofa, TV with Netflix etc, candles also provided);

- Dining area (two chairs, a table that can be extended to fit 4, with two extra chairs stored on top of the cupboard);

- Kitchen (fully equipped, including Nespresso machine, washing machine-dryer, fridge, tea, coffee, salt & pepper, oil, tea-towels, oven glove, all cleaning products provided)

- Small South-facing balcony with original balustrade feature is off the living area and catches the sun all day (you can take the spare fold up chairs out there when you like, provided they don't get wet!)

- Good Wifi connection
- Hair dryer provided
- All linen, towels, soap, cleaning products and basics provided
- It's located on the first floor, about 20 steps/ stairs in total to reach it
- If you're staying during the colder months, there is central heating and a towel heater in the bathroom

- Ask if you require early check in or late check out and I'll do my best to accommodate you
- Spare batteries, candles, matches, and cleaning products in cupboard

- The entire apartment will be yours. As an interior designer, I've created a peaceful, boutique haven within a historic listed building, on a wide leafy street in a beautiful conservation area, just a 5 minute walk from everything you could want!

-It's incredibly quiet given you'll be only a stroll from all that buzzing Islington has to offer: an exciting International (or British) food scene, traditional pubs, gastro pubs, shops, boutiques, cinemas, markets, cocktail bars, wine tastings, cafes serving the best pastries & coffee in London, brunches, live music, live comedy, theater and more within easy walking distance (see more details below).

- Wake up in your quiet cosy bedroom, enjoy a Nespresso in your bright sunny living area or balcony, and refresh yourself in your walk in shower; spend the day exploring all the area & London has to offer, or take a day trip to the country side, followed by dinner out, or in relaxing with Netflix by candle light!

- Though not a 'serviced apartment', I have the space and laundry professionally cleaned so it's spotless. If you are planning a longer stay and require interim cleaning, just let me know.

- You'll be spoilt for choice of green spaces (Highbury Fields a 3 minute walk away with Clissold park just beyond) & canal side walks. Hampstead heath is just a short overground ride away too.

- It's a perfect location for foodies, with Islington's restaurants catering to all tastes and styles of dining, and Hackney offering the most exciting food scene in London, with new and vibey, intimate restaurants constantly emerging!

- If you prefer to eat in, there are supermarkets, delicatessens, and organic produce a few minutes away.

- Broadway Market, Exmouth Market, Borough Market, Maltby Street Market, Spitalfields Market and Covent Garden Market all reachable within 30 mins.

- Stroll through the historic conservation areas of Barnsbury & Canonbury, right on the door step, through countless Georgian/Victorian squares and garden, to soak up the various architectural styles, and stumble upon the many hidden pubs.


RULES

- Self check in and check out.
- You don't need to clean or take the bins when you leave but...
- If you are staying much over a week I'd ask if you can take the bins down for the bin collection time (very early on Friday morning)
- Ensure candles are fully blown out when you leave a room or go out
- Ensure windows are shut, lights are off, doors locked and bathroom radiator is switched off when you go out/ leave
-During colder months, I will time the bathroom radiator to come on in the mornings. If you would like to request particular timings just let me know.
- During colder months, it is warmer to keep heating on continually at a moderate temperature. If it's not warm enough, please let me know if you have to turn it up in case there is an issue with the radiators and I need to call somebody in.
- No parties

- A £100 deposit is required per booking for any damage. This will be refunded.

This was an ideal stay. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything. My daily commute to London bridge was easy. Sophie was the perfect host, responsive and extremely polite and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in her place on my next visit to London.
