I rarely leave negative reviews, but I booked this flat based on the glowing reviews & the “Premier Host” badge. We had issues with poor communication & received check-in instructions hours before leaving from the US & only after contacting VRBO support. The listing was misleading: it implied a ground-floor unit with a “garden,” but it’s up two narrow flights of stairs, & the “garden” is a small balcony with artificial turf. This should be disclosed for guests with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. A working washer was a must for our 2-week trip, but she knew it was broken & didn't inform us ahead of time. The host offered to reimburse us for using a recommended nearby laundry service, but after submitting the receipt & following up multiple times she hasn't responded. The internet was unreliable & the unit is TINY. There was almost no storage & we has to use the kitchen counters for most of our clothes & other items. The bed was a small, very firm double with uncomfortable pillows, & there was a bright light shining into the bedroom at night right where you sleep preventing us from having a restful sleep for our 7 nights. This was our worst vacation rental experience in over 10 years & I don't understand why these important issues were not clearly noted in previous reviews. I’ve contacted VRBO for resolution as the host hasn’t responded in over a week. I hope this honest review helps others make a more informed decision so it doesn't ruin your vacation as it did to ours.
