Beware of Bait and Switch Scam

2 days before check in all the pictures and details about the place changed. I believe we were moved to another flat without asking us. I called Vrbo and they said they would help if we couldn’t get access to the rental but the host had the right to change pictures. The host told me that they made some floor changes. That is impossible since everything looks pretty much older and needs replacing. The space is entirely too small for 6 people and definitely doesn’t fit 8. It smells badly of sewer. The WiFi doesn’t work. There were no trash bags, hand towels or cooking utensils in the unit. There were only 4 coffee cups. None of the tvs work. The stairs are deadly!!! And all bathrooms are down those stairs. Towels were scarce. And no extra linens for the sofa bed that was included in the bed count. Communication was unreliable with the host. Sometimes responding a few days later. Mostly it was hard to understand what the host was replying to. It seemed there was a language barrier. Overall don’t stay here. It’s not worth the stress of this place.
