This is a bright modern 2 bedroom unit located in a middle/upper class neighborhood in London. The local area is called Forest Hill and we are located opposite the train station. Travel to London Bridge was 13 minutes and there is a train/tube every 4 minutes. The furniture is modern with TV and cable available in the living room and all bedrooms. There is a balcony to relax in the summer.

The space

We are a relatively new building by UK standards. Our building is eco-friendly. The communal areas are cleaned regularly, and the apartment is fantastic.
Travel to London Bridge was 13 minutes and there is a train/tube every 4 minutes.

There are local amenities with a superstore and restaurant underneath the building. There is also a Sainsbury's within walking distance and well as several other options.
We have great walkability score and all our guests have loved our location.
The apartment is modern with free super-fast Wi-Fi, cable tv available in all bedrooms and throughout the unit.
Great for group of friends and families with kids.

Clean, convenient, comfortable...BUT

The apartment is clean and very convenient to public transportation. I have stayed here many times. The Host is sometimes hard to reach. This last visit the apartment was double booked and not available for the first night of my reservation. It was a frustrating situation and we had to scramble for a place to stay. All previous stays went much more smoothly.

Lovely apartment, badly managed

Gorgeous apartment, warm, spacious, great location overlooking Forest Hill train station. Nice and quiet inside. But, communication with host was pathetic, and so very unhelpful. No response to my messages a week before leaving Australia. No response to next message on arrival into London at 7am on day of checkin. Finally 4 hours before checkin I had to contact Stayz to help locate the host. No apology! I had originally asked if early checkin was feasible. He said we could drop our bags but no early checkin. That’s absolutely fine, we get access to drop our bags and the apartment has been cleaned and made up and ready for us. I checked with the host who still said no to early check in without any understanding as to why not. Moreover when I asked for possible late checkout, I did get a reply to say he would check, but then he didn’t bother to get back to me with a reply. The apartment was mostly very clean and well appointed. The crockery and cutlery were filthy. But then there was no dish washing liquid so presumable the last visitors were unable to wash their dishes. The shower drain was blocked and so we had to clean it of all the previous peoples hair :/. The second bedroom bed rather uncomfortable and squeaky.
