About this property

Design-Led Islington Home with Huge Private Garden

This is a large, open and design-led North London home, created for easy living, entertaining and spending time together. The ground floor is unusually generous and flows from one space to the next, with room to cook, eat, talk, work or simply spread out without ever feeling crowded.

At its heart is a fully equipped Gaggenau kitchen, designed for people who genuinely enjoy cooking. It includes two ovens, a steam oven, built-in coffee machine, hot-water tap and all the usual modern appliances. The kitchen opens directly into the main living and dining space, making the house particularly good for long dinners, family gatherings and relaxed weekends with friends.

Full-width bifold doors at the back open completely onto the very generous private garden. In warmer weather the boundary between house and garden almost disappears, and the main living space feels as though it simply continues outside.

There are four spacious double bedrooms. Three have their own contemporary microcement en-suite bathroom or wet room. The fourth has a separate WC very close by, and there is another additional WC elsewhere in the house.

The house is fully modernised, with a heat-pump heating system, excellent insulation and all the practical comforts you would expect from a contemporary home. It feels clean, calm and open, but it is also a real home rather than a showroom: comfortable, characterful and easy to live in.

The location is very easy for getting around London. Tufnell Park Underground is only a few minutes' walk away, with Kentish Town and Kentish Town West stations a little further on. Hampstead Heath is around a 15-minute walk from the house, while lively Camden is also close by, with a huge choice of gastropubs, cafés, restaurants and independent places to eat. Buses about a minute away run directly towards King's Cross and central London.

Please note that the house is not suitable for very young children or guests with mobility difficulties, as there is a long open staircase running through the house.
