Let me start by saying George and John are the absolute best! I left my phone in the Uber and they quickly jumped in to assist. They were helpful with restaurant suggestions, transportation and directions. Every hotel should have a George and John! The Ember Locke was clean and a bit quirky (in the best way) and the coffee shop and restaurant are good as well. The hotel was a good walking distance to restaurants and the tube. Take time to sip a drink in the lovely garden out back! Cheers!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was close to the metro. The hotel was decorated so cute. Just a few things needed a little updating but all in all it was a great hotel for the money. Would definitely stay here again. Also try the Turkish restaurant the staff recommends. It was amazing ❤️ I think it’s was called Meagan’s

Great location 5 min walk from the underground and it’s on a major stop. Not far from Heathrow. Small kitchen with things you don’t think you will ever use and the staff is very friendly. Waffles are very good for breakfast.

Stayed 1 week in late April in modified studio ("one bedroom open plan suite") at about $300/night. For that rate, I expected A LOT more. As another reviewer pointed out, it the hotel is very stingy. Asking for more coffee pods is not uncommon and providing liquid soap but no washcloths is just silly. Positive Staff is very friendly and helpful Luggage storage if needed but we were able to check in early as our room was ready Bed comfortable Room/bathroom very clean Some food is available in the hotel Hot water Safe available in room Small dishwasher Small combo washer/dryer Small refrigerator Blackout shades C-usb connections by bedstand Good wifi Negative Shower/tub is a bit difficult to get out of as it is deep and the only handhold is the towel rack No washcloths are provided!!! It might be awkward for a tall person to get into the bed as it is in an alcove with slanted walls Have to buy more coffee pods if you want more than the 2 provided Kitchen lighting is minimal Only 1 of 2 lifts were working over the entire week stay and things didn't look good for it being fixed anytime soon Could hear a lot of sirens and road noise, especially at night If you have mobility issues, know that there are 7 steps to get to the front door. There is an outdoor lift but it looks like you have to notify the staff to use it. About the location About 7 min walk to tube Felt safe walking at night Many restaurants within walking distance

We had a fabulous time staying at Ember Locke. the staff was extraordinary, especially John whi greeted us at the front desk upon out arrival and Umesh who led the restaurant/ lounge staff. The rooms were clean and well appointed and we loved the overall environment/ vibe of the hotel. Wonder location, wirh easy walking or tube access to everything. And some great local pubs to visit. We will definitely be back!

Friendry stuff and contemporary atmosphere. Our room was located on the ground floor facing the courtyards. It was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Great location. We appreciated the use of basement laundry room with free laundry washer and dryer.

As an owner of 12 successful businesses in Canada,we are very well acquainted with "keeping the customer satisfied." For 45 years. A business is only as good as the consistent service offered by its wonderful staff!! Professional, knowledgeable,obliging staff throughout the hotel. I MISS THEM ALL!! Very warm,welcoming & with good senses of humour.😄 Lovely room. Great kitchenette. CLEAN hotel. Funky decor which offers a unique retreat after meanders about glorious London. Capacious outdoor patio at back of hotel. Quiet & surrounded by trees & gardens. Tables with umbrellas. Great coffee & pastry shoppe inside hotel & good bar & restaurant.
