Very nice hotel, but several room inconveniences.

Trendy, fresh, & very clean hotel. Professional & friendly staff. Great location ... short walks to bus stops, Thames, attractions, shops, & restaurants. Room was nice, but w/ few amenities, inconvenient lighting, glitchy temperature controls, & lacked bathroom privacy. Amenities: Only 1 very small end table for personal items (cell phones, wallets, keys, cups/glasses, etc.) No boiler, coffee service, fridge, etc. Very small hanging-clothes space (enough for perhaps 2 jackets or 3-4 shirts/pants.) No night stands. Bed against walls on two sides, so one sleeper must crawl from foot of bed to sleep. Lighting: Light controls located by bed ... well-away from entry door. All room lights turn on full when entering the room. So if one person leaves the room early (say for exercise or coffee,) all lights come on upon re-enty, waking any sleepers. Also, no separate control for bathroom lights. Temp control: Thermostat would only hold set temp for perhaps 15-20 min, then revert (apparently) to a default temp. So had to constantly re-set control to maintain desired temp. Staff attempted to correct the control several times w/ limited effect. Bathroom: No separate bathroom light control & mostly-glass wall between bath & bed. So one must shower via night-light mode, or turn on room lights to shower (waking any sleepers.)

The rooms are very small but they are so perfectly designed for efficiency that they are comfortable. The high tech features in the room make the limited space very usable, and the modern design makes the room feel high end.

Fint, rent hotell. Första morgonen var frukostpersonalen väldigt serviceminded men andra morgonen fanns knappt någon service alls. Väldigt nöjd med hotellet men jobbigt med att nyckelkortet strulade.

Zimmer war sauber, aber leider nicht gut belüftbar. Was Waschbecken hatte ein Leck, welches trotz Meldung nicht repariert wurde. Der Teppich im Gang (4. Stock) hat unglaublich stark nach Feuchtigkeit gerochen. Die Hälfte des Personals war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die andere Hälfte wirkte sehr motivationslos.

Prima Unterkunft

Prima Unterkunft, die ich jederzeit wieder buchen werde. Kleine, aber schöne, saubere und moderne Zimmer. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit - egal um was es geht. Einfach toll :) Nur 300 m vom Tower of London und der Tower Bridge entfernt, wo sich auch die nächste Tube Station befindet. Auch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß sehr leicht und schnell zu erreichen: Sky Garden, St. Dunstans, The Gherkin, Leadenhall, Monument etc. Für mich ist das ab sofort mein go-to Hotel wann auch immer ich in London bin.

Soweit war alles bestens. Auf Nachfrage, haben wir ein Zimmer mit Fenster bekommen. Gereinigt wird nur auf Ansage. Mülleimer gab es nicht auf dem Zimmer. Ich würde das Hotel immer wieder buchen. Die Lage ist ein Katzensprung vom Tower entfernt und es sind fussläufig ein paar Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Frühstück ist eher Sweet breakfast. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
