‘Immaculate’ That’s a joke!
This property was dreadful, messy and filthy, unsuitable for renting and definitely not appropriate to be advertised on hotels.com.
The kitchen was grimy, the oven very dirty, the cooker hood thick with grease. There was old food stuff in several of the cupboards and even chicken left in the freezer!
The sink in the bathroom was not cleaned properly, there were nasty brown stains on the bedroom furniture.
The shower was taped up with sticky tape and the extractor in the kitchen was also closed off with tape. There were very sharp edges on a broken windowsill at head level for a child. It was very untidy with random objects around the property including toys and a badly decorated Christmas tree ( this was May bank holiday weekend..)
There were other potential safety risks eg the shower pump in a cupboard was sitting on a crumpled cardboard box, junction boxes were loose etc. There was no suitable fire safety equipment and no smoke alarms etc. I could go on.
They had also asked for extra money for private parking which had to be paid before we arrived despite property advertised as parking included. The parking was not ‘safe’ being on a piece of waste ground next to the property.
We were unable to stay in such an awful place and left soon after arrival needing to book elsewhere, reporting the situation. We immediately asked for a refund from the property managers which they refused.
I would advise not to go anywhere near this property!
