Horrible experience with host.

I booked this property 5 weeks in advance to stay 19th to 24th June 2025. Host ignored all of my messages and never sent me check-in instructions. On the day of check in, I asked him again for check in instructions. He immediately cancelled the booking, leaving me stranded in London with nowhere to stay for me, my wife & two children. The host's excuse was "Property maintenance issue - water leak". So why did he not contact me earlier to advise of this? I suspect that he had the property double booked perhaps. This property and host should be removed from VRBO.

Horible Communication

Did not receive communication about a leak until I initiated contact on the day of our arrival. That left me to learn that my reservation had been cancelled a few hours before our arrival. Supposedly the leak occurred the prior night yet no one notified me, which left me scrambling to find alternate lodging. That put a damper on the beginning of our London journey and caused us to pay additional money for last minute accommodations.
