Staff very freindly and helpful. Hotel clean, quiet and safe. Location good for easy access to subway, bus and taxis. Very walkable. Near some tourist attractions. Very happy with my stay.

All the staff were very warm and considerate.
There was only one thing that had to be mentioned. When one employee was mopping the floor in the hotel restaurant, I wanted to get a cup of warm water. To avoid leaving footprints on the wet ground she had just mopping, she decided to get the water for me. She took my cup with the very dirty gloves from the just-wrung mop, unscrewed the lid, poured out all the cold water inside, and filled me with a whole cup of boiling water. When I took the soiled cup and the boiling water, I was really embarrassed.how can she
Great room arrangement: 1 full plus 1 twin. We don't have that in America, at least in the hotels I've stayed at. It would have been nice if, on the day of arrival, a couple of complimentary bottles of water were provided. (We've been traveling international for 9+ hrs) Instead, there is a vending machine in the lobby with bottle water and sodas. There's a kettle in the room, which is nice. Bathroom has been updated and is very clean. They let us store our luggage with the front desk after check out so that we explore the city a bit before taking the train to LHR later in the day. Just had to make a small donation to their charity, GOSH. (We donated L10) I would stay here again. Boroughl Market is 2 blocks up. Great location, and that's key! -JB from Cali
Hotel was great, breakfast was good. Area was safe, but the alley outside tends to get a lot of litter. Not sure if it's standard in the UK, but no tissue box, and only a combined body wash/shampoo. Lots of outlets, wish they had USB charging ports. The extra beds were ready for us when we got in.
