The location is great – just an 8-minute walk from Gloucester Road Station, and the building has a gym, sauna, and jacuzzi. However, the apartment itself and the service leave a lot to be desired. The kitchen is very basic and needs improvement. The TV didn’t work, and there was no working phone – I couldn’t reach reception when needed. The floor was dirty, and the window shade didn’t block the sun at all, making it hard to rest. Guests are expected to take their own trash outside the building, which isn’t convenient. The gym is outdated and could use better equipment. Customer service was disappointing. When my son arrived, they refused to give him the key even though I was on the phone with them and had already provided my ID. Some of the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional zero trust Overall, a good location but poor service and facilities.. but it good price when high seasons.

It’s a reasonable place to spend a few days, the kitchenette is suitable and the rooms are somewhat comfortable. I was initially in room 112 directly above the smoking area (noise and smoke) but the team were happy to move me to a different room. Pillows were of low quality, but not terrible. Would happily stay again, but would possibly choose somewhere else first.

Very happy with the studio apartment. Limited kitchen but fine for what I needed. 10 mins walk from South Kensington tube station. Plenty of supermarket express stores. I would return if I come back to this area.

As an alternative to a hotel room, this property is highly convenient and in a good, quiet location in South Kensington. However it is a bit ... unusual. First, photo ID is required at check-in -- the receptionist explained that this is in the confirmation email, but we checked together, and it is not. It is, however, in the terms and conditions on Expedia -- though low down, not in the 'special check-in instructions' section, and not especially obvious. Fortunately, they accepted a photo of my driving licence on my phone. My details also hadn't been passed through from Expedia, so I had to provide my address again. Second, at check-in guests are asked to sign 2 pages of fine-printed terms and conditions, which is pretty atypical for somewhere that is pitched as an alternative to a hotel. These conditions are quite bizarre -- including a promise that the apartment is being used for residential purposes and not a short-term let: that seemed pretty weird given that it they were providing it to me for a single night. The property itself was in mostly good condition. That said, it did seem odd for two days of shower gel and shampoo to be provided ... but no handwash. There were also no coat hangers in the wardrobe. Some of the outlet holes in the shower head were blocked with limescale. Overall, I will consider staying here again if it is considerably cheaper than hotels in the area, but I wouldn't otherwise rush to do so until some of these issues have been addressed.

Get what you pay for…… I won’t be back!

A cold unwelcoming room. The room temp was 14 C when I entered and it took several hours to get warm-ish. The bed was very lumpy, pillows were thin and soggy. The blinds don’t keep all the street light out and the very thin double glazed windows do not keep the street noise out; it was noisy all night. I was on 2nd floor. It’s London and if you want something decent, you have to pay for it; this was inexpensive and you get what u pay for! I be back!
