Friendly staff, clean room. No lift (old converted building) and close to trains. Even on the 3rd floor you can hear the trains. But the location is great for a short stay. They provide still and sparkling water in the lobby and have a kettle with teas and coffee on a stair landing. They will also hold your luggage.

Absolutely abysmal quality. You can get a luxury experience in London for the same price. No space. The building shakes easily from the metro nearby. Initial staff I interacted with was not the most welcoming. My worst travel purchase.

Check-in was easy and quick, and on arrival I was offered a free upgrade to a double room by the very pleasant lady in reception. The room was spotless as was the ensuite, and the bed very comfortable with crisp white bedlinen. The amenities were very good, and I loved the view over the Norfolk Square park. I would definitely stay there again.

Room had seen better days, and was given a landlord special. But everything was clean and I had new towels/ bedsheets daily. Staircase was steep and had thin hallways, because of this it is difficult to drag a suitcase up it. Had to take multiple trips. When I was trying to sleep I could hear people panting and clobbering up them all night & morning. The room key situation is annoying, you have to drop it off before you leave each day; it becomes a pain point when you are out the entire day and have to check in again when you get back. The girls at the front desk are very nice !

I did this on miles, and having lived in London many a year ago, was apprehensive about it being a shabby tourist hotel… which it is kind of. It’s fine, no real gripes other than not a great mattress… and they need much better pillows. You get what you (don’t) pay for. It’s okay.buuuuuuut, super convenient if coming in on the Heathrow express. That was fantastic

Staff was great but the room was not. We had a “family room” which was on the lower level literally about the train station and right next to the street. Every 3 minutes a train passed from 6 am until midnight and it would literally shake the room. Since the window was literally next to the street we could hear essentially everyone who walked by. We got little to no sleep and would NOT stay here again. Not great for families or those who are light sleepers. Literally stayed here in our last night as we needed something close to the train station so it was good enough for that but would not recommend for long term
