Our experience was good overall. The hotel is located in a strategic part of the city, surrounded by dozens of restaurants, grocery stores and several other shops. It is also between two subway stations and has good bus connections, and being just a few meters away from Hyde Park makes it even better. However, the facilities were not very clean, and it could be quite loud at times. We could hear the main door opening and closing all the time, and even conversations coming from other rooms. All in all, the staff was kind and supportive, and I would definitely recommend it.

Staff member on front desk was quite rude on arrival, however was able to accommodate us changing rooms as we did not want to stay right by the entrance on the ground floor in a room on its own, which i don’t believe should be a room, however said ‘only because you checked in earlier than the next person’. Great hotel. Nice sized room. Friendly staff. Love the quieter neighborhood. But still close to underground. Some great little coffee shops and dining nearby and great to be by the parks. A/c worked better than most air conditioning anywhere in the city. Felt completely safe as solo traveler.

COMFY AND CLEAN HOTEL

Really comfortable, staff are great and understanding. Neighborhood is quiet. The only situation that I encountered is asking my taxi to get to the address. I was looking for the Chapters Hotels. When on the door shows as J HYDE PARK. Other than that, everything was great.
