Terrible Room

This is one of the worst hotels we've stayed in. The room had no windows, the lighting was terrible and the overly attempt to be trendy with room decor was tired and worn. We couldn't figure out how to turn out one of the lights when we went to bed and had to have someone come up. It was totally non obvious knob that turned out the shower light. It's an amazing location but I'm sure there are other options that would be better. The Standard is the standard for bad hotels. We will never stay here again.

The team at the Standard are what makes it a truly exceptional hotel. I was in London recently for a short visit and when my plans changed they were incredibly understanding and accommodating. Special acknowledgement goes to Nathan on the front desk for all of his work!

Customer service couldn't be faulted. I didn't use any of the facilities therefore can only comment on room. I had the most basic room with no windows. I would say it is quite basic. Only real extras are a safe and mini bar. Bottled water and fresh milk would have been nice. I also found bed very low , not good if you have bad legs. Rainfall shower, I would have preferred a standard shower. Ability to cast to TV was good. If I went again, would definitely get a bigger, more luxurious room

Amazing Hotel

Loved this hotel, so unique. Staff friendly and so many different areas to choose from just to chill and admire the views of London. Loved Sweeties Bar. And the bed was outstanding, soooo comfortable. My son would love it here, will defo come back.

The room was lovely,clean & quiet. No free bottled water or sufficient tea & milk. Requested more but had to wait hour and a half to arrive. Poor service. Staff polite but impersonal. Still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Not 5 star standard.

AIR CONDITIONING AIR CONDITIONING!!! This place has the best AC! The BEST staff! Not all places have that or WINDOWS. You definitely get your moneys worth staying here! I had to change hotels from a place that had no AC, no phone in the room, no air filtration, dirty, unkind staff. This place was a fresh breath of air and HIGHLY recommend.
