OK apartment - Photos Definitely are not accurate

Pros: The space
Cons: The quality of furnishings, the bathroom should be clean and renovated, the photos need updated to an ACCURATE representation of the apartment
Location: Handy distance to London Bridge for buses and tubes
After looking through the photos of the listing I was very excited to stay at Union Nike apartments. To my dismay when I arrived not one single photo on the listing represented the apartment in any way. The photos show a modern, well finished and clean apartment. This was definitely not the case. The apartment itself was spacious which was a bonus for London however it was very poorly finished. The carpets were cheap and thin, the mattress was also thin on the bed with paper thin duvets. As well as this the bathroom was not exactly clean and the toiler took two/three flushes to work. A balcony that was unable to be opened as the lock seemed broken, it just turned endlessly. Perhaps the most irritating of the experience was the fact that the iron was ruined and black at the base, (something I now will learn to check for) this ruined my shirt. After reading this you will think i'm a fussy customer. To add context I have been staying in hotels every week mon-friday since March 2017. This is the most irritating and disappointing experience of accommodation I have ever experienced.

Nice family trip

It was a nice trip with the family. Nice appartement. But we did'nt know, that we did'nt book by a hotel. Never mind, the appartment-office people where there 24 hours. So we did'nt miss a hotel reception. Nice breakfast we became all over around the corner (our favourit: nelsons). Appartement was very clean and comfortable.

Lage der Wohnung war gut und die Wohnung eigentlich auch. Es gibt leider einige Mängel wie schmutzige und verfleckte Teppiche, schmutzige (und zwar richtig heftig) Gardienen, Kücheneinrichtung sehr mangelhaft - z.B. keinen Flaschenöffner, alle Küchenmöbel wackeln, irgend etwas abgebrochen, kann nicht richtig bedient werden (Backofen - keine ersichtlichen Temperaturen mehr), Glühbirnen waren kaputt, Nachttischlampe fehlte an einem Bett etc. Eigentlich alles kleine Mängel und mit ein wenig Unterhalt, wäre es eine gute Wohnung. Der vorgängige Kontakt war äusserst mühsam und wir bekamen, auch wenn wir in Englisch geschrieben haben, nur mühsam eine Antwort und auch dann wurde nicht alles beantwortet. Bei der Buchung war auch nicht ersichtlich, dass sich bei der Union Apartments um eine Agentur handelt, die mehrere Apartments hat. Wir haben eigentlich das Apartment nach der Lage ausgesucht und haben dann ein anderes zugewiesen erhalten, was uns erst später bewusst wurde. Da wir nicht wussten, in welcher Zone wir wohnen würden, konnten wir vorgängig nicht die richtigen Tickets für die U-Bahn und Busse kaufen. Auch auf unsere Nachfrage wurde nie reagiert. Wir werden auf jedenfall nicht mehr bei Union buchen und werden zukünftig kritisch auf die Angebote von ebookers hinschauen. Auf jedenfall war die Unterstützung durch ebookers im Vorfeld ganz nett doch leider konnte auch nicht viel erreicht werden.

Die Küche war noch schmutzig Die Betten sehr unbequem Möbel alt und in schlechtem Zustand Bäder Dusche sehr verkalkt Entspricht niemals den Bildern,die auf der Website sind

Bel appartement bien situé

Pros: Situation; calme, accès; procédure de location; emplacement.
Idéalement situé, près du London bridge. A 3 minutes à pied du métro et près de la tour du Shard. Toute la procédure de réservation s'est bien déroulée; l'accueil sur place a été très bon (y compris arrangement pour prise en charge des valises). Appartement en très bon état, dans une rue tranquille. Seul petit bémol : la largeur des lits un peu faible pour un confort idéal. Sinon, tout était parfait.

Siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli.

Hotellimme sijaitsi Borough:n alueella, noin 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä toimistolta. Borough market oli myös aivan lähellä, täältä löytyy paljon herkullisia leivonnaisia, karkkeja, hedelmiä ja kasviksia. Sekä toimisto, että asunto oli helppo löytää London Bridgen juna-asemalle saapumisen jälkeen. Hotellilta sai etukäteen ohjeet, kuinka lentokentältä pääsee helposti noutamaan avaimia. Henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja heihin sai yhteyttä ympäri vuorokauden joko puhelimitse tai sähköpostilla. Saimme asunnon käyttöömme jo monta tuntia etuajassa, vaikka sisäänkirjautuminen olisi ollut vasta klo 15. Olimme toimistolla jo aamulla ja oli loistavaa kun saimme jättää matkatavarat toimistolle siksi aikaa kun pyörimme alueella ja odottelimme, että asuntomme on valmis. Asunto itse oli todella siisti ja tilava. Keittiössä oli kaikki tarvittavat välineet ruuan ja välipalojen tekemiseen. Pyyhkeitä oli riittävästi ja lisäpeittoja ja tyynyjä oli myös saatavilla. Osa asunnon hanoista oli perin englantilaisia ja meillä oli pieniä vaikeuksia käyttää niitä. Ulkoa tulevat äänet kantautuivat rakennuksen läpi kuin ikkunat olisivat olleet koko ajan auki, ja liikenne on vilkasta aamukuudesta alkaen, joten oli hyvä idea ottaa kasa korvatulppia mukaan, niille tuli käyttöä! Kaikenkaikkiaan todella mukava ja helppo tapa asua hetki Lontoossa.
