When tubes running it is like thunder rolling over
The reviews that state the hotel is quiet only refer to when the tube is not running, I think between 3am and 6am. Outside of those hours you hear ever tube which is like a large thunder breaking over head. And at 6am it is like an alarm clock.
No breaksfast. I think there may have been coffee, but water jugs was empty.
The rooms are beyond minialist and sparce to say the least. They are so greedy and did so much cost saving that in room 5020 there are two coat hooks, and they are rubbish. It means the rest of you clothes are on the floor with your bag and shoes. You couldn't hang a suit or a dress up. Bath was good except there was no glass to drink from in the night. I shall never visit this place again
Noise from the train line above until midnight, then started again at 5.45 in the morning.
No hot water in the shower, just tepid!
Cheap, but still n balance I wouldn’t use it again.

Basic but central
It’s actually quite a basic hotel and there are no comforts in the room. Nowhere to sit, no desk, no tv, no facilities to make tea/coffee. WiFi is good.

Okay for one night
The style off the hotel was really nice. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. However, the pipes were very loud and you can hear the pipes of the adjoining rooms so that when anybody used the sink or the toilet or the shower, it made a very loud noise. Additionally, there is no signal and the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. Finally, the lights flickered quite significantly. So I wouldn't recommend this room for a long stay for one night. If you're not staying long in the room itself, it's fine. But for a long stay, consider that it doesn't have anywhere to store your clothes or hang your clothes up.
It was interesting- but I felt the vibe of the hotel was off. Something design wise has gone wrong. The big pillars in the middle of the corridors and exposed pipe work wasn’t for me and the colours just didn’t give a great look to the hotel. Dark corridors without distinguishable features made it hard to navigate to our room. It was quite maze like! I understood the concept of the beds being a cocoon but in the middle of the night my friend needed the loo and fell right off the step from the bed to the ground straight into the glass doors of the bathroom, down right dangerous design! The design of the shower/toilet behind glass doors offers almost no privacy so using the bathroom really wasn’t a comfortable experience. The self check in was a bit pointless as well. There was staff to help who gave me my reservation number after I gave them my name but I don’t understand why she just couldn’t check us in. The hotel did have a nice smell. And just be warned you can hear the tube albeit quietly but it’s there! There’s one sheet over the mattress which moves around a lot and by the end of the night I was sleeping on a dirty mattress rather than the fitted sheet. This is ok for a one night stay in London as it’s so close to soho and very central, but I’d be disappointed if I was staying here for more than that!
