I'm rating it three stars, four is a stretch. Its a novel hotel reminicent of Europe on the inner edge of Manhattan Beach/Hawthorne. Awesome sculptures and artwork! I detected a strange odor when entering the lobby, I got the impression that people smoked cigarettes in the past, its difficult to cover up. The room was larger than average, the king bed was comfortable. The "Continental breakfast" was weak, mainly apples, some store bought cheese muffins, water, cereal and coffee. Was hoping for OJ! Was good, but not 4 stars to me

We loved our stay. The partition in the room was a nice addition to give the adults and kids privacy. The pool is heated and the hot tub clean, we went twice a day! An unexpected surprise was a small continental breakfast that offered dairy free coffee for me and cereal and pastries to the kids to hold them over until we went about our day.
