The staff could be more friendly and helpful. It seems that they are more interested in helping the "regular" business conference guests. I had to wait for a long time for the front desk employee to stop flirting with a guest who was just standing to the side talking and flirting with her. Also, we sat at the bar around 4pm and no employee was kind enough to say they don't open until 5pm. They just looked at us and went about their business. The property and area is great but the service lacks.

It would have been nice to know of the $50 overnight parking charge. The money we spent on our stay plus the charge could have been spent elsewhere. The beds were clean, but hard as a rock. Overall I didn’t sleep well after a 9 hour drive. That was the only 2 things to complain about.

We couldn't find a coffee maker in the room. We went downstairs for some coffee and they wanted $7 each. We ended up walking to Peet’s down the street. When we got back to the room we found the coffee maker hiding in the closet. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were old, used and flat. The blankets were thin and cheap. $17 to park in a free parking lot during the day, they only charge if you stay at the hotel. Go figure. Won’t stay there again.

Best place if you're visiting Magic Mountain

We were so impressed by our first stay at this Hyatt that we booked again two weeks later. It is quiet (away from the highway) but only 8 minutes to Magic Mountain. The hotel is very pet friendly, the beds are comfortable and the parking and quality of everything is top notch.

When asked to put down $50 for “incidentals” we had no idea this included $17 parking fee and that the bottles of water marked complimentary were also going to cost $3.50 each. I am quite angry that these charges were applied without our knowledge. This puts a stain on the Hyatt reputation. Revisiting a Hyatt is questionable.

I frequently stay at the Hyatt Regency Valencia and really enjoy this hotel. It’s an upscale hotel with a lot of nice amenities in the heart of Valencia, within easy walking distance to a good selection of dining options and shopping. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room rates are reasonable.
