This was such a nice gem in the city. The staff were super friendly, they hold your luggage before you check in. It had charm.

The staff was friendly and helpful but I had a couple of things about the room I wasn't okay with. There is a filter in the shower that had not been changed, and it was filthy and a little corrosion in the bathtub. I did not advise the staff (I know I should have) but as awful as that filter was they have been ignoring that for a very long time.

The only thing worth it is the location. It is an old hotel so, don’t be surprised if one or two elevators don’t work, the bed linens are worn down or the bed isn’t comfortable. The hotel staff were polite if not friendly. Even so, if for some reason you need do be within 5 minutes walking distance to Times Square or the Broadway, this hotel is a good and affordable option.
