For an old hotel, the maintenance is great. Its nice and clean, centrally located to everything.. its pricey.. i just wish you dont charge facility fee $45, i dont know what they mean facility..Like gym or pool? I didnt even see it.. didnt even know about it.. but yet I have to pay those.. no choice..you gotta pay..

This is a reasonably priced hotel within a 5 minute walk of Times Square and in the heart of the theater district. What not to like about that?

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Not only were they willing to keep our bags prior to check in, we were actually able to check in an hour and a half early! Very close to many things we wanted to see (walking distance). Would stay again!

The property was about 45 minutes from LaGuardia Airport by Lyft. There were good eateries within two blocks of the hotel in both directions. It cost about $15 by yellow taxi to get to the cruise port. A $25 resort fee was added, but overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay

First room on the 15th floor was super nice redone. With that said I wanted to stay an extra night. They put me in the 4th floor. Room was a downgrade 50%. For a little bit more a night. I recommend going to the corner bodega there is a cat that is in there that is super friendly.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times and really like the location a lot. Easy to get to via subway from penn station plus very walkable to theaters and eating options. Rooms are decent size and very comfortable. Only coffee and tea available in the mornings so breakfast requires a short stroll to numerous options. It’s become our hotel of Choice for trips to NYC.

I have stayed many times at the Belvedere, so my review is a mix of several stays. In general, it is quieter and a great location. The staff is nice and does their job well. In general the rooms are not fancy but clean, and some rooms are quite old and in need of freshening as well as installation a decent number of wall outlets in usable places. My most recent stay was troubling. The first room started smelling of ammonia the second night we were there, and we got switched to another room the next morning. The air conditioning unit was the culprit--likely coolant leak. But the next room was even worse--the unit blew air that smelled like urine, strongly. This was another unit that seemed to have had no maintenance, and was likely full of mold and bacteria from stagnant water with no way out. I complained to the front desk and to the management, but we only had one more night in our stay, so we lived with it--fortunately neither of us have allergies or asthma, and it was cool enough to leave the unit off. So gross though. I have reassurances they will look into fixing the problem, and this will not stop me from staying there again, but it was really unpleasant.
