Old building, one of elevators wasn't working and the one working was very slow. Didn't provide water bottles. One bending machine for the whole building was available and the machine was taking only dollar bills.very outdated

The chains on the roller blinds were very difficult to operate. The chain kept separating from the locking link. We found silverfish in the bathroom and kitchen area on 3 different days of a 5 day stay. The only other objection is the eleveator system.

I had roaches in my room after i was already moved from a room that looked like it was for a blind man...so the man at the desk(the only person that care) said they wld move us a credit us 2nights did, only for this rude manager to overturn his decision and inly credit is $40 bucks...i have pics and videos of the roaches and i will be caliing and sending them to the board of health

The Belvedere is a great hotel in Midtown. Room is spacious and has a small kitchenette. Doorman is awesome, we talked to him everyday and he gave great information.

This hotel is perfect for anyone coming to New York for touristy stuff, Broadway shows, etc. I usually visit the city a couple times a year, and this is my first choice for hotels. This time, however, one of their two elevators was down for service on my latest stay, and it was incredibly inconvenient to have to wait up to ten minutes for an available elevator to get down from the 14th floor. They made the service elevators available, but it still took a long time to secure an elevator. The Belvedere will still be my first choice, but I hope the elevator situation is resolved before my next visit.

This is a fine slightly better than basic hotel. The door staff/bellman are amazing. The microwave & mini refrigerator are the stars of the room and are a real bonus compared to other hotels. After that though the room is just ok. The rooms are probably due for a remodel soon or at least an upgrade in beds and linens. The tv is small and didn’t work during our stay but we als didn’t complain about that so it’s fine. Mostly noting it’s a small tv. The tub had some maintenance needs but was actually one of the best water pressure and temperature showers I’ve had at any hotel including name brands. The biggest drawback is the elevator situation- slow and small. Even with being able to use the service elevators you may be waiting. Despite any of that I’d happily stay here again for the location, door staff and that refrigerator

I have stayed at the Belvedere at least 6 times before-with no issues. This time was different. We were put in a room where the bathroom was shockingly tiny-and dirty. The floors were dirty, there was hair on the toilet paper! I called and asked for someone to clean it. After being promised, no one came (I cleaned it myself). I asked to change rooms. No. The second day they took the soap away to refill it…we didn’t get it back until 2 days later! The staff at the front desk was abrupt and rude. We go to NYC every year. We will never go to the Belvedere again.

The place was fantastic. Not only were you treated like a VIP the property had an old school NY charm to it. The room was spotless and the shower was hot and everything was well stocked. Will be back!
