The property is decent. Super close to dining options and walkable. The pool is heated to 85 degrees. Needs new pillows. Plan on a huge deposit hold on your debit card even though we paid for the room.

We loved our stay here. The staff were all fantastic - so friendly and made it feel like a home away from home. It was immaculately clean. The rooms are a little tired but the cleanliness, awesome staff, pastries, hot drinks and location more than make up for it. We would recommend The Tangerine to others for sure!!

Clean and comfortable with kind staff, down the street from the best croissants in Los Angeles at Lou’s! The dining on the block is fantastic. Didn’t use the pool due to fires, but appreciated the ambiance.

The staff here was wonderful from beginning to end. Check in was easy, they explained all of the amenities they offered and the local dining options. We left an item behind and they called to inform us and included options to return it. It’s a comfortable stay with tons of dining options within walking distance. And just a 10 minute drive to Universal Studios. We will absolutely stay at The Tangerine again when we return.

Love this hotel! It was clean and comfortable… The pool was immaculate… super friendly staff…The biggest selling points were the amazing coffee machine and water dispenser in the lobby as well as the location! Surrounded by good eateries and walking distance to Warner Brothers Studios. Absolutely recommend!

We absolutely love the location of Tangerine. Walking to Warner Brothers and an easy drive to Universal. It has a ton of places to eat right along the same street. Its cute, great staff and overall we just love it!

This is a perfect stay if you're looking a place to sleep after visiting the area (universal, hollywood, WB Studios).

Customer service was excellent, pastries delicious, but the rooms need to be deep cleaned more often. I have serious Asthma and allergies, it was dusty, and the carpet was dirty. I had serious problems with coughing and choking from the dustiness. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I would not stay there again. It was not good for someone who has allergies or Asthma. Please clean the rooms more thoroughly

Nicely remodeled motel. Staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great with nice soap. The breakfast is very basic; just a plastic platter with store bought pastries. The coffee machine in the reception area makes very good drinks.
