Nice stay

We were surprised at how quiet and well kept the hotel was. It's located near the airport and we fully expected plane noise. There was none! And we happened to be there the same night as youth wrestling, soccer and hockey teams. The gentleman at the front desk bumped us up to the third floor (without prompting) and we slept like babies! The hitel was clean and pleasantly decorated. Nice stay!

Red alert!

If you like to be woken up at 3:30am by a fire alarm this is a place for you! No fire just faulty alarm. They won't comp your room for your inconvenience even when you stay multiple nights. Cut my finger on the light switch coming into my room. Top screw is backed out from face plate.

Not our best stay

In all fairness this hotel is an airport hotel so going in one needs to be prepared. The noise level on Friday night is tremendous. Air traffic all night long ….seemed like an ups jet landed every few minutes. Saturday night was better only 3-4 planes landed so it was tolerable. Request a room on the front entrance at least you will have some barriers from the noise. We had to evacuate due to a fire alarm at 3:10am Friday night that was unsettling turns out it was something about the pool area sensors according to the attendant whom stayed pretty calm and after 30-40 minutes got the alarm shut off . Needless to say this happened on Friday night also so we might have gotten 2 hrs sleep. The room was clean and in good condition and bed was comfortable and all the staff was friendly just some difficult circumstances made our stay unpleasant.

Nice middle ground hotel.

This hotel was like any other, nothing special. It was clean, comfortable, and fairly well kept. There were a few cosmetic flaws but nothing major. Breakfast was the usual items but at least they had one. No complaints about the room or the stay. Did have a bit of trouble with the TV because we have a fire stick that we take with us, and the front bedroom TV would not allow us to use it, but the TV and the tiny little "suite" part, where there was the couch ( that I assume pulled out) and a coffee table, that TV allowed us to use our fire stick. So we couldn't watch from our bed but we could watch from the couch, no big deal. Also, the shower is weird because the door opens right in the middle where the water is, so theres no way to not get water on the floor. There is plenty of counter space in the room, and an extra blanket is provided. I did hear the desk clerk say they were overbooked, but i didnt hear of anyone being turned away or having to downgrade a room. This hotel is right around the corner almost literally from Kentucky Kingdom and the convention center as well as a few restaurants and the airport, so that was nice. Overall I would stay here again, 4/5 stars.
