Nice quiet hotel on the river! I like my room with a balcony as well! Breakfast was decent. Walkable to the night market and the city! It is down a street that cars can't come down, so have to carry or roll suitcase down it, but it isn't bad. Overall very nice family run hotel! Loved sitting outside on the balcony and watching the river!

The room and hotel common areas were very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful to us. First, in retrieving a bag we left in our shuttle. Then, in helping us get train tickets to Vientiane. The breakfasts were fairly basic but with some nice pastries. The hot items could have been kept warmer.

The balcony overlooking the river along with the quiet neighborhood and excellent breakfast (with real coffee!) made this place a good choice. The only negative was that the walls were thin so we could easily hear the next door room neighbors chatting all night.
